Information collected automatically
The web host records ordinary server-log information, such as IP address, requested URL, time, browser or user-agent details, referrer, and response status. These records are used for security, troubleshooting, and reliable operation.
The site uses Jetpack services from Automattic for traffic statistics, login and account protection, firewall functions, sharing or subscription features, synchronization, and downtime monitoring. Depending on the feature and request, Jetpack may process technical details such as IP address, user agent, requested or referring URL, login attempt information, and WordPress.com account identifiers. Information you choose to provide
There is no public contact form on this site. If you follow an email-subscription link or use a third-party subscription feature, that provider processes the email address and related subscription information under its own terms. If you email the RheumJC team, the message and address are processed by the applicable email providers.
Cookies and local storage
WordPress and Jetpack may use cookies or browser storage for administrator login, security, preferences, and enabled features. Ordinary logged-out reading does not require a RheumJC account. Third-party media or links may set their own cookies after you interact with them.
External links and archived material
Older posts preserve the historical record of the community and may link to journals, social networks, or services that have moved, changed their privacy practices, or disappeared. Following an external link sends your request to that third party. RheumJC does not control those services.
Retention and security
Operational logs and backups are retained only as needed for security, recovery, and hosting operations. Access to administrative systems and restricted backups is limited to authorized maintainers. No Internet service can guarantee absolute security.
